PIXION ANNOUNCES RELEASE OF
PICTURETALK 4.6

New release allows for porting of recorded conferences into QuickTime & Windows Media; free use of PictureTalk being offered to attendees during Macworld Conference

Macworld San Francisco, Calif . January 10, 2005Pixion, Inc., the creators of PictureTalk, a leading cross-platform Web conferencing solution, today announced the release of PictureTalk 4.6 and are offering free access to the beta site to attendees at this years Macworld conference.

Designed to run natively on any operating system, PictureTalk enables business professionals to cost-effectively increase their productivity and efficiency by conducting and attending Web meetings. Any document, presentation, application, Web page or desktop can be viewed and shared with multiple attendees in an unlimited number of locations.

"This latest version of PictureTalk was specifically designed to answer the needs and wants of our customers and partners," said John Heng, director of engineering at Pixion, "as an example, many of our customers wanted to record their meetings in a standard format which could be portable and editable so we answered that need by enabling recordings in QuickTime for of our large Macintosh user base as well as Windows media for those on Windows".

Some further innovations as part of PictureTalk Version 4.6 include; new and updated annotation tools including text, shapes, plus pre defined and/or custom stamp tools; support for public meetings as well as private meetings; the ability to push (pre-uploaded) videos across a web conference to all viewers.
